Empowering Young Minds to Live A Greater Quality Of Life.
S.P.E.A.K. OUT LOUD'S
Programs & Services
S.P.E.A.K OUT LOUD Foundation (SOL), was founded in 2017 to create better opportunities for underserved and at-risk youth in our community. We have launched three core programs designed to transform trauma into empowerment and give youth the space and resources needed to find their voice in driving social change, developing useful skills, and improving their long-term education and personal goals. Many of the youth we serve have been exposed to various forms of trauma, and each program was designed to support healing and/or personal development so they can have a better quality of life
COLOR CREATIONS
Color Creations approaches trauma through art therapy in the form of art workshops. Using art activities such as drawing, painting, and three-dimensional art, this program introduces topics including mental health, self-expression, and developing personal resilience to youth.
This program directly fosters restorative healing and liberation for diverse youth who have experienced various forms of trauma and adverse childhood experiences. By helping youth confront their trauma in a regenerative way, we are able to teach them positive coping skills and improve their personal resilience while also reducing their symptoms of stress and anxiety, enabling them to live freer lives.

THE OUTLET
The Outlet is SOL's advocacy program designed for BIPOC teen groups (13 and up) to find their own unique voice and speak out. S.P.E.A.K. OUT LOUD aims to positively develop their leadership in the areas of social justice and racial equality, with an ultimate goal to positively impact system change. S.P.E.A.K. OUT LOUD understands that working to create positive change in these areas is not an easy task and requires confronting factual decades of ongoing trauma of racial inequality, social injustice, and the systems currently in place that negatively impact BIPOC youth today. S.P.E.A.K. OUT LOUD aims to be a beacon of light within these communities. We believe that there is indeed hope to create better systems for a better future, and with this program we will innovate with youth the role creative healing can play in birthing positive change.
